The Modaire Journal is where we'll be sharing everything the marketplace can't quite fit into a listing page — buyer guides, seller stories, styling notes, and the small decisions that add up to a more sustainable modest wardrobe.
What you'll find here
We built Modaire to make it easier to buy and sell preloved modest fashion — abayas, kaftans, hijabs, Pakistani bridal wear, shalwar kameez, and everything in between. The marketplace itself does the transactional work. The Journal is the slower conversation around it.
Expect:

Why "preloved" and not "used"
The clothes on Modaire are usually barely-worn — bridal outfits from a single wedding, formal pieces from one dinner, everyday clothes retired because a size didn't quite work. Calling them "used" undersells what they are. Preloved captures that these are pieces someone chose, wore, and passed on carefully.
That's the tone of the Journal too. Care, context, and useful recommendations — no marketing, no clickbait, no listicles built to game a search engine.
